A beautiful detail of a calm sunrise in Sobra on island Mljet. I woke up before sun, and as soon as I saw the colors I ran out of the house with the camera. Small fisherman's boats were floating on the calm sea, and as the place is turned to east, the scenery and colors were stunning and ideal for shooting. It was really beautiful.
Location: Sobra, island Mljet, Croatia
Additional information: Hitech ND grad filter used.
* I'm not able to thank each one of you for faving the photo, but you must know that I appreciate your support very much. I'll concentrate on browsing through your art instead.
first of all listen: 'i love ur gallery so dont spoil me....ill keep doing this on ALL ur pictures'
ok here it is.... 1) Vision: what can i say????? i mean look at it....this is THE portrait i would love to keep smewhere just to look everyday. 2) Originality: the small boat there is really a wonderfull subjevt to make an outstanding portrait the way this is but still i believe that the magic was added not by the boat or the MII wich totally is top line. But from the one behind the lens. 3) Technique: last night u told me that it is just your 1st year in photography, well actually this is really hard to believe. there is people and photographers shooting for years and still can not get the results you do did and have here. I mean wow....where where you so long ? I totally agree with the f settings i dont know what the 10/16 ss is or why it is so bizzare but still i would supose that u used a rather high ss for this. Still if you have used a tripod for this then u ghould get an extra point im sure u must have thought about that 4) Impact: this sure was a really good decision to add this picture in front of ur gallery. There is nothing i can really say for the impact of this picture. i mean look and it and u tell me of it does need ANYTHING else or if ANYTHING is missing....
What can I say about this shot except that it's outstanding! Amazing composition, colors, and depth of field. I'm just wondering, though the aperture is F22, there are some places which seem out focus on the front of the pic. Is it becuz of the movement of the water that it looks that it's out focus or as if there was a vibration ?!
The parts you see blurred are because of water movement in some parts. I could have avoided them by shortening the exposition. But, when I was going through the photos on the spot, I did not notice it. I'll be smarter next time
